Wesley Enhanced Living is anything but enhanced living. We had to move my dad out of there and over to Broomall. Every weekend he spent there was a total set back. There is absolutely no supervision whatsoever on weekends. The head nurse Kim and social worker Eleanor told us he needed palliative hospice because he had 6 months to live. The family was shocked at how rapidly he was declining. We went through hell. When the family met with the doctor and the staff, we thought they were telling him the bad news. Doc said he didnt believe in palliative hospice. Kim walked out of the meeting. Eleanor said if we moved him, hed lose his insurance. Another lie. My dad is now walking up steps in Broomall and doing great. Do not send a loved one here.

After my mom fell broke her femor. She was placed in Dunnwoody my mom got a UTI and was back in the hospital. My sister's and I were looking for a new place for Mom. My sister called a place for Mom and she found Wesley. We love it ! Mom has been living there for about a year she is happy, people are friendly she had made friends, food is great. Mom is safe staff is responsible and friendly. The only two complaints she has had living there is a bank on site that if you don't have a account they will not give change (I have to agree what is the sense of a bank in a assisted living that doesn't serve the clients) and the nurse on staff is only an LPN not an RN , But we love her, she is responsible, friendly.keeps open lines of communication and is not afraid to say, I can't help her she needs to go to a hospital.

The independent living aspects of Wesley Main Line were well above average. The management staff was attentive, responsive, kind and genuinely caring. The Wellness Center staff is/are stellar; the medical providers themselves well below standard in our experience. The supposed 'Skilled Care' section (The Meadows) was in my/our opinion, deplorable. Inattentive staff, poor communication, rude to patients, inept care in our experience. Dirty, smelly and poorly managed. We were charged over $11,000 for self pay in so-called 'Skilled Care' because the medical documentation was improperly prepared and submitted to Medicare. It took a federal court action to obtain reimbursement and even then Wesley delayed remittance. Then we sought to obtain a return of the 'buy in' balance left in the non-amortized account, mindful that under the contract this payment would not be tendered to the estate until the unit was re-leased and occupied. However. no one at Wesley told us that in fact that had happened; we learned, months after it happened, and only by chance from another resident, that the unit had been re-occupied.. When I inquired of Wesley management, there was a lot of hemming an hawing from 'corporate' and there was a delay before the fairly substantial balance OWED was remitted. We never did get an explanation of why we were not told the unit had been re-occupied.Overall, I/we would NOT recommend Wesley to anyone. It seems to be all about $$ in the end, and if I could rate it in negative stars, I would.

My parents were residents at WEL Main Line for 2 years. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and compassionate and went above and beyond for our family. I would highly recommend Wel Main Line to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment for their loved ones.
