The Manor at York Town

In the new Covid world I would steer clear of the Manor which has become more like a big brother establishment that is reducing your freedoms drastically. They make it very clear they do not want you interacting with the outside world, not even your family and will penalize you for doing so. I am glad they are being cautious but they've taken it way too far and it feels as if much of this will be permanent. You have no real input or say and rules are made up by them without regard to what is legal or your basic rights. Example...if you go to see a doctor you must then quarantine yourself for 2 weeks immediately after. Think of the negative consequences...elders deciding not to seek medical care because they'll be locked in their rooms for doing so. Residents and staff have become nosy wanting to know where and with who you've been and then turning you in. Letters go out admonishing residents if there is suspicion you saw a family member...Seriously they do this! Pretty sure what they are doing is illegal. Just want you to be forewarned.

Quiet and clean senior living facility. I was there for a meeting and did not tour the property but it appeared to be very well kept.
