Having worked professionally in many nursing homes across the state, this really is a decent place for my grandmother to be. Staff is friendly, facility is nice, but I'm disappointed in not having phones in patient rooms or at least a reliable phone to call and check in with loved ones. Although there is a cordless phone at the nurses station they can bring to a patient, the phone crackles and cuts out leaving it near useless. If you have family out of town that cannot visit, get your loved one a cell phone they can use for calls.

My mother died there due to incompitence.. please do not send your loved ones there. You will only be heartbroken like iam..

Heartbroken that a young man is stuck at hillview due his mother being ill and unable to care for him. He's left to sit in bed all day most days and has developed a horrible wound due to lack of care. I intend on pursuing this more tomorrow with the proper authorities, because this is not right!
