I thought the other reviewers were exaggerating when they gave bad reviews. They are not. Bleak atmosphere, communal bathrooms and showers, one staff member had bad bedside manner. Most staff have the not my patient, not my problem mentality and my relative has to remind staff about receiving care.

Chronically short staffed. Competing for staff in an area brimming over with ads for healthcare workers. Too many high acuity patients without high acuity staffing. (Medicare?) If you know any health care workers, send them to this facility. They have to catch up before they can keep up. Good employees, good management. Just not enough employees. And not enough parking. Please add some parking.

Avoid placing your loved one here at all costs. In addition to all of the above, which absolutely was true with our experience here (poor management, complete lack of care or coordination of care, overworked nurses, etc) they seemed just fine with a known abuser visiting a resident and hurting her on site. They did nothing. I'm shocked the state of Oregon lets a place like this stay open, but then again I suppose this is healthcare in America.

My grandfather was sent here from the hospital claiming they have a specialty dementia unit that provides physical therapy. We were told they would have everything we would need, when we arrived they asked if I had a wheelchair, we did not, it then took them a while to find one he could use. It was missing parts and malfunctioning. That was the beginning of the nightmare. I could write theee full pages regarding the serious incompetence of this facility. In short the facility is seriously understaffed, poorly equipped and use bullying tactics when they could not address our concerns and requested discharge. We had to contact our primary care Dr to get discharge because they could not schedule a time with their in house Dr. They had 2 CNAs caring for 17 dementia patients that required skilled nursing.
