Harmony Guest Home

I am so thankful that we decided to move my father to Harmony. They treat him like family. Even though his dementia is getting worse, he will tell me that he is happy when I ask him about where he lives now. We had moved him from another facility based on location and not on any issue that we had with his care previous, but we can tell that he is much more content and peaceful at Harmony and for that the whole family is grateful.

They aloud my mom to escape 2 times!!!!!!! Wondering down town Hillsboro Oregon alone she has Alzheimers stage 4!!!! My poor mom!!!! I am horrified!!!!!!!! NOTHING but negative about this horrible place!!!

Just as a remark to Linda Misener comment. I have been an RCM here at Harmony Guest Home for over 12 years, and we have never had any prior incidents of this nature happen in our west wing memory care community since it's opening in 2012. The staff who was on duty as well as the management team acted in accordance with the policy and procedures set by the the facility Administrator.It was an unfortunate incident however, the staff responded in a timely manner, and the mother of Linda Misener was returned to the facility safe and unharmed. Also, let be noted that the family removed this resident from the facility stating that they 'felt it was not a safe environment .' However, in less than 24 hours Linda Misener's sister called our facility and requested that we readmit the resident back to Harmony Guest Home on the other memory care unit because, 'they had a terrible night and that the family is not able to care for and handle her well at home because it is far to difficult.' So, ask your selves if this is such a horrible place then WHY would you bring you loved one back!!!! I hope that any one who reads theses reviews will take into consideration that we do care and love our residents, and visit our facility instead of judging us based on one bad review.Nancy Beck

Linda misener , my sister is retracting her review and comment. She reacted before knowing all info. The staff and all employees have been very supportive and caring for our mom and to our family!! I'm so very grateful to all of them. I sincerely apologize for linda's comments. She will be removing it asap.
