The Amber

The building has gone through a lot of positive changes the last year! The caregivers are friendly and attentive, the meals are healthy but still taste great, and the managers are all focused on making sure the community is running it's best. This place is better than ever!

I am very positive about The Amber assisted living. The new management is great - very conscientious about doing a great job and ensuring everything runs well and residents are well cared for. The staff are extraordinary - very caring and friendly towards the residents there. It's not just for show, either - I've walked through the facility on off-hours to visit relatives and have seen caregivers sitting and speaking with residents, holding their hands and bringing them comfort. This to me is what assisted living is truly about and I am so thankful that The Amber is where some of our family has decided to live now that they need extra help. There is always something going on there like bingo or pedicures or folks gather in the group area to talk or play piano or just sit and relax. If you're looking for a safe place for family members who need extra care, where the staff are attentive and kind and the food is pretty darn good - then check out The Amber.

Staff actually need to show up and do their job. Too many no call no shows. Would not recommend anyone to work here
