Yeah all the greatness fades fast like after a couple months. Great sales, great facad. My dad insisted he did not feel safe. They understaff which means he was sent to bed in poopy sheets multiple times and his bedroom and bathroom stayed poopy for days. Then they will charge your loved one rent and care for the extra month if you dont give 30 days notice on leaving. Oh they offered to only charge him half the month so after his money was gone they only wanted his next full income. Nice. Plus his roomate had dried urine puddle under his bed but he was on hospice so cleaning his room was an option. Write your name on everything they dont tell you until your laundry goes missing. But whats is tell you when there is laundry for several different residents with their names on it in your parents drawers. Plus if your parent has a roomate your sheets and blankets will be used and never returned in other residents rooms.

This is an extremely caring place! I had tears of joy and thankfulness the way the staff treated our loved one. They make you feel warm and welcome, like family. Invited us to stay and eat and had ice cream treats for us when we moved in. The staff is friendly with all who walk in. I see them saying hi and smiling all the time! What a happy place. A memory care does not have to be depressing. I like visiting because I am in a better mood when I leave.
