It was a great place to work, when the coronavirus broke out, I was forced to go work around and with those employees and residents who were postive for Covid19 even though I was negative. When I was retested I found out I was positive, instead of allowing me to take my required time off to quarantine, I was told that because I don't have any symptoms that I need to stay at work. I believe that is a very inconsiderate comment to make to an employee who has always been there to care for the residents. If they replace the administration I will definitely consider going back to work for Brookdale because it is a great company.

Brookdale used to be a great place to work at but the change management and staff so much it's horrible the new Ed they have is horrible she changes rules and regulations all the time wanted to write us up for doing too much Kronos or just for the smallest stuff. They can't keep staff they fired hard working people and I had been there a year and quit cause they literally have no one too work there.. they want you to do EVERYTHING from patient care to dining services to laundry and house keeping. It was way too much but the plus side was that the residents were great I loved them soooo much is what really made me stay and I'm going to miss them dearly but everything else absolutely not!!
