I had the chance to tour the facility and was very impressed. The staff was great & the facility was clean and well kept. Also, the food here is actually really good.

I have had the privilege of being inside several of the independent living homes, visiting residents, and I have been very impressed. The patio homes especially have a lovely modern look and spacious feeling, and really can function as their own little neighborhood within the Golden Oaks Village community. They are an easy walk from the main building, allowing for as much community interaction as desired. I also love that all of the independent living homes have easy access on site to emergency and long-term nursing care.

We moved our parents to Golden Oaks. In my opinion this is the best facility in Stillwater. They treat the people who live here like their own family. The food is great and there is a nice variety of food. The activity calendar is always full! They care about the people, not the bottom line. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for the best place to take care of your loved ones.

Golden Oaks Village is an incredible family-owned community with beautiful facilities, a caring staff, and an inter-generational preschool. I had the pleasure of working at GOV for over three years. The residents and staff are truly one big family!

Once my grandpa went 2 weeks without a shower. They are late for dressing, urine bag emptying, waking, and more on a weekly basis.Talking privately to the staff, they will admit that they are understaffed with a high turnover rate. The helpers are payed a very minimal wage, which I know from seeing Golden Oaks jobs posted online.Even after a family meeting with the director Cici (unsure how her name is spelled), THE VERY NEXT DAY multiple services were extremely late.I would expect more after my grandparents paying a small fortune (almost $5,000) monthly to this company. Please check into this place more deeply and ask questions before you choose this establishment to take care of your parents. I feel they are taking advantage of the hard situations of families in Stillwater.
