My sister has dementia. Left my sister there for respite care for 20 days.. They called me said she wasn't feeling Good. I came picked her up immediately. Took her to ER she was dehydrated and had UTI and mini stroke. I had mentioned to them to give her plenty of water. Would not reccomend this place.

Financial / bookkeeping / accounting for charges a disaster. Always paid on time or early - consistently received credit memos or money due. When I addressed this issue personally with the office at Brookdale was told 'don't worry about it - it takes a while to get every thing straight.' Two months after taking Mother out of Brookdale received a check for $4,000 from Brookdale. Two days later received an invoice with $4,000 due. Therefore not only did family have to be concerned and check on welfare of Mother, always had to deal with concern and worry regarding payment being processed correctly.

Excellent Staff and care given. Chastity goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are taken care of. I would personally put my family in Brookdale and know that they are taken care of.

My grandmother is a resident at the Brookdale location in Muskogee. Unfortunately, she suffers from vascular dementia and is no longer able to live at home alone. This was a perfect fit for her because it is a memory care assisted living that is focused on the needs for individuals suffering from dementia and Alzheimers. Everytime we visit her she is out of her room doing activities or visiting with the other residents. I am so thankful for her to have the opportunity to live in such a wonderful environment with such kind and caring staff.
