Had Mom here for short term rehab, and Mom in Law lives in adjacent low assistance condos and nothing but good to say as far as I can tell. I would recommend it to friends.

Mom was at the Commons at Providence for a year before she passed. We cannot say enough about the quality of the assisted living center there down to every last detail. At a high level, the Commons is clean and beautifully decorated. The apartments are large enough to give residents a sense of independence and quality of life. The people, senior management, nurses, aides, cleaning crews, dining room staff, maintenance, and social director and not in any particular order, are all so very personable, nice, and most of all, treat all of the patients with such care, as if they were family. Our mom thought she would hate it there, and at first she did moving out of her home at 93, but she turned the corner and grew to love the residents and staff as though they were family. They (Angel, Jane, Raynell, Betsy, Ed, and several other nurses and staff got her to do things for them (playing beach ball and bingo) that we never in a million years thought Mom would do. If you are in a situation where you need to get a higher level of care for your parents or loved ones, this is where to go! Not a single regret, except we wish she lived a bit longer to enjoy it more, or moved a bit sooner......

This place is great. They look after the residences like their own family.

The Commons of Providence is a wonderful place for older citizens. My Grandma lived there for approx 4 years. They took care of her like she was family and always did what was best for her. Thank you for all you do for your resident's.
