We placed our mother in there on Friday and havent been able to talk to her via the phone since then. The reason we get is that she is not in her room to answer the phone but they never offered to bring her to the phone or no video call, I thought the government gave out grants for tablets so people in nursing homes could actually have communication with their loved ones? We have called and called and called and called but they dont seem too concerned that we dont get to talk to her. Even tried calling the administrator Rick but no call back so you make up your own mind if you want to use this place, my recommendation would be NO

I can't say enough about the caring staff of Grand River, especially the physical and occupational therapy staffs. Both my Mom and Dad were residents there and I had such peace of mind knowing they were being well cared for. My Dad especially loved being there with all the kind nursing staff. A true gem for rehab!

This place is unbelievable!!!!! My father has end stage kidney disease and end stage liver failure. They did nothing for him!!! The nurses are lazy. They do not respond when patient calls. Patient has to wait until they happen to come in to ask for a drink of water. Then they don't bring it .Dad has to call us to call the facility to get water. Ridiculous. People who answer phones are rude. They get very put off when they have to let u in after hours . Slow lazy uncaring. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there. They were so rude and wouldn't help us we will NOT be sending him back there!! Stay away!!!

I have had the pleasure of working there since it has opened. The staff in every department care about the residents and each other like family. Please come experience this yourself and see how nice it is. Any building can be pretty or not, its whats the care and compassion is about that matters.
