Staffing is HORRIBLE ! The administration treats staff like poop as if they arent the LEAST PAYING FACILITY ! This is not a place to work if you want to be in a positive happy place while working ! Nurses smoke all day on a non smoking facility premise ! They will ignore you even when its about a resident falling ! Everybody is RUDE if you have your loved ones here you must not really care for them ! This Place Is Apart Of The Devils Work !THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE TO THE HUMAN RACE ! They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENT ! THE MALE NURSES KILLED A RESIDENT BECAUSE SHE FELL NUMEROUS TIMES IN A DAY AN HE DIDNT CARE TO REPORT IT ! Multiple people have died here because of poor care !! They only suspended him for ONE SHIFT ! TEAMWORK DOESNT EXIST AT THIS PLACE AT ALL ! Reporting anything to a nurse is a waste of time because they dont care . DO NOT PUT NOBODY IN THIS PLACE NOT EVEN YOUR PET FISH !

About 3 years ago, I searched relentlessly for a place for my Dad. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and walked into the lobby, I knew I had found the place. While no one wants to have to choose a facility for their loved one, sometimes we just don't have a choice. Dad recently passed away due to several complications one being congestive heart failure. I want to leave a real review for others looking for a good place for their loved one. The entire staff over the years have been nothing short of amazing. I witnessed several times over the years their care of other residents as well so this isn't 'just' about my Dad. I am frankly surprised by former reviews of this facility by disgruntled workers etc....Dad was always clean, well fed and quite content. Friends and Family who visited were always impressed by the cleanliness and welcoming decor. There are a lot of social activities for residents both in and out of the facility. The compassion and care of both nurses and aides to my Dad was astounding. There is turnover of staff here as are most nursing home facilities. There is ALWAYS a need for more staff at every facility and until that is changed at the State level, that will always be a negative. This facility listens, cares and does their job well. Go in and take a tour. Usually only people that are mad take time to leave a review out of anger. The current rating does not reflect what a wonderful place this is. My mother has already said this is where she wants to go if she ever needs a nursing home facility. Trust me, I pounded a lot of pavement looking for a good place for Dad and well, I would not have left my dog in most of the places i checked out. At times, anytime a concern came up, i followed the proper channels to address with Management and a solution was found quickly. Please, do yourself and your loved one a favor and go check this place out.

This is a great place to work and to live. The owners of this small company go to great lengths to have a clean, attractive, and up-to-date facility. The activities are varied and many (bus outings just to see the seasonal changes, resident/employee strolls for folks who have a hard time getting out on their own, and fishing derbies in our very own stocked fishing pond are among my favorites), the food is of a higher quality that many other long term care facilities, with lots of variety and dishes made from scratch, and the nursing staff is friendly, responsive, and competent.
