I have been working for danbury since may 2019 management has been wonderful to me I'm allowed to be my self when dealing with all staff there are great even the residents are great I look forward going to work everyday

The Director of Nursing, (Caitlin I believe) was very rude and disrespectful. Ive never had a worse experience at a care center. Does not take accountability for her own actions. I understand having a bad day, but this was just out of hand. As someone who was going to look into admissions, I will not be returning.

It makes a big difference when managment cares about their staff at any work place, and at Danburry you will find that managment truly cares for their staff

Our mother recently became a member of the Danbury family. I say 'family' because it truly is. Everyone we meet reflects a positive work environment where a commitment to residents and their families is paramount. There are literally smiles shown by everyone we meet. We are present at lunch and dinner daily and the meals have been nothing short of delicious (special thanks to 'Mr. T')! It makes us happy to witness assistants, administrators and other staff take time throughout the day to visit with the residents. When we bring up any concerns or suggestions, they immediately address them. Our mother resides in memory care and, although this particular population can be challenging, staff has displayed patience, kindness, humor, knowledge and the ability to assist them with their all their daily challenges. How can you not be happy that you chose Danbury for your loved one? I would be happy to discuss a resident's family perspective with anyone considering Danbury for their loved one! Why five stars?....because it wouldn't let me give 10!

Great staff, so helpful to family members. My mom has dementia and has adjusted well. She loves the food and is more comfortable at Danbury than she was in her own home. They give a lot of attention. In her words'They take good care of me here'.
