Both of my parents spent some time living at Birchwood. My father actually passed away there. Overall I feel that they did an extremely good job in the area of day to day care, but also that they would often drop the ball when I felt there was a health care problem. They never got problems solved quickly! Ever! Sometimes I would have talks with the Doctor and Director of Nursing, they wpuld say they were going to fix this or that but it wouldn't get fixed. I don't want to give a bad review per say because they overall did a tremendous job...but if your loved one is here and you report an issue...stay on them until you see the issue resolved.

Birchwood Care Center took great care of my mother. I appreciate the kind and attentive staff there. The staff looked after my mother when I no longer could at home. They truly treated her like family. They asked for my input on things and then incorporated it into her daily care. She was always dressed, clean, and hair combed when I came to visit her, all very important things to her. We are so thankful for her spending her last years at Birchwood.

This place is a joke. The Dixon family are cheap rich people that are selfish ! They take away your bonus and expect you to come in and work extra for unappreciative people. They dont care if you work everyday they will still avoid you at all cost hoping you dont ask them any questions or concerns .They will lie to you about your pay and expect you to be okay with it because they are spending too much money ! They lied to me about my raise ! Coming from Millionaires who doesnt care about the people that keeps the place running !!!! Not cool Dixons !!!!!!!
