Monterey Rehabilitation Center, Skilled Nursing & Memory Care

Pretty neglectful staff and unprofessional. Some psa's are nice there, but overall not a good review

Today is the first day of my mother's stay and already it's been a nightmare. First they couldn't produce a phone number for her room so that I could call to check on her and that was at 9:00 am so I went straight there. When I arrived her television didn't work, her phone didn't work and she had no trash can in her room. I was there for over 2 hours and was still trying to get a number for her before I had to leave now it is 4:40 pm and I just called back so I can speak to my mom and still can't get a number or even a transfer to her room because THEY DON'T KNOW THE NUMBER! I think I'm just going to bring here home in the morning. I will never recommend this place to any one. I want to update my post on how Monterey was taking care of my mother she has been there for 3 days now and is doing well they have addressed all of my concerns and even called me to see if there was anything else I wasn't happy with. My mother seems to be happy there and that's what's important to me. I will post another update in a few days hopefully by then I can give Monterey a 5 star rating.

My mother and I have found the level of service to be excellent and her caregivers have endless patience. Also the front office has been exceptionally helpful admitting her on a waiver while we get Medicaid setup.

Mom has been here less than a week and were already frustrated with this place.
