Brethren Retirement Community

Could not have chosen a better place for my husband and I. We are living in Chestnut Village. It is beautiful and maintenance free.Everyone that we have neighbored with love it here and wished they had made the decision10 yrs sooner!

Great community room within the retirement home. All you have to do is sign up for the room. Its all for free.

This place has a bad rap of not keeping good attention to the residents I have seen residents been neglected on RW 6 where they are litterally crying just to get out of there chair to go to the bathroom and literally have no choice but to go right then and there. I was there for 6 months in the kitchen most horrible job I ever worked at huge favortism and people walk all over you and don't help you out. I left for better and when I left my wife and her sister in law who still work there were treated horribly due to me leaving to better myself. The supervisors are horrible especially Gaye who is Mike right handed person I turn in my badge to her and she started a whole big dramatic show and said to everyone there I threw my badge in her face which It didn't happen that way yet no one wanted to listen to my side and treated my wife very poorly. State needs to visit this place more often and management needs to be changed for the better. People are always leaving because they see how horrible the place is and are going to Village Green which is a way better place and better work environment. I've seen kitchen supervisors disrespect the residents and treat them horribly especially Gaye when state isn't there she is mean to the residents and when state is there it's always happy faces and doing what the residents want. Please choose a different place than BRC because your love ones don't need this high school drama from these employees take them to Village Green heard it's way better and it has better reviews.
