Has gone down hill bad. They need to get rid of upper staff.Laronda the admin. Jamie the social worker and definitely the rudest billing person ever .Cam. They are rude and incompetent. And my mother will be moving soon. If i had any idea who owned them now and could find a websiteht i would be glad to let them know.

Federal law and state law for patient rights are being violated at Woodridge. I have photos and written documentation for many Dept of Health surveys. Today we get notice less than 24 hrs Woodridge will not transport our loved one to a doctor appointment because they say he is not 'skilled nursing'. I read definition in the Ohio laws, based on his treatment yes he is . Council on Aging DX of intermediate care level is required, meds are being given to our loved one, there are issues with toileting due to late stage cirrhosis. Next issue which speaks volumes of whether kindness or caring are apparent there...My daughter is unable to walk far, is in a power wheelchair. She has extreme difficulty visiting her dying father, as the disabled spots are often taken by able bodied people, parking lot disrepair, and most, can it maneuver the PWC in the room to see her Dad when another resident is in there with a wheelchair also. The previous Administrator was kind enough to help by placing new residents in an empty room. There is no compassion nor kindness at this place unless a handful of nurses and 3 or 4 aides . The new Admin accused mydaughter of being rude when my daughter expressed her frustration and knowledge of ADA rights and that she would not fit in the room in her PWC. Her Dad does not feel well and cannot travel to another empty resident room for any length of time. The Admin said since he is on Medicaid he is to have a roommate. Wrong that is discrimination . Medicare and Medicaid are same, no matter. Good luck all, as the owner had another nursing home shut down in Akron this year.

Poorly ran. Not compassion for their patients. The facility is not clean. When my sister was admitted the OT theapist and the patient had to clean the toilet so it could be used. The nurses and aids talk about patients and make fun of them, especially if overweight. There were five patient lights going off and I go to nurses station to let them know my sister had to go to the restroom and her call light was not working. All were just sitting around doing absolutely nothing and one aide was on Facebook and actually ignored me when I addressed her. Finally I just yelled excuse me. I got all of their attention quickly. If they dont want to be bothered with people then they should not be in the healthcare field. However I understand why they are there at Heartland of Woodridge. Its probably only help can get. Sad just sad.

I read these reviews and honestly they are not true! The teams at Woodridge are hard working and will go out of their way to help make sure the residents are getting the best care. I am proud that my mom was there even if it was for a short stay. Thank You to the management team for all that you had done!
