The Sanctuary is an amazing place that really cares about the well being of their patients. Unfortunately, over the past several years, my mom has spent time in many short term rehab facilities in the local area. The Sanctuary is by far the best overall! The building always looks and smells clean. The staff is extremely friendly and always attentive. The food is outstanding! There is no better therapy team anywhere! The therapy team goes above and beyond to tend to my moms individual needs. The nursing staff go out of their way to ensure patients receive the best personalize care possible. I have been highly impressed with the communication and the support from all the staff. Honestly, from all our previous experiences elsewhere, the Sanctuary at Wilmington Place is the best place to provide true quality care for your loved ones.

We couldnt be happier with the services my father received during his stay at The Sanctuary! Everyone was respectful and truly had my fathers well being in mind at all times. All questions were answered quickly. The Physical therapist and occupational therapists involved with my dads case went over and beyond all expectations. They were constantly evaluating what needed to be done in order to meet my fathers needs. Nurses, social workers, and nurses aides were wonderful and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend the Sanctuary for anyone wanting to find a skilled nursing facility where their loved one will be taken well care of.

I have not had the privilege to stay here yet, but with my experience at the Widows Home of Dayton, rhis will be the nezt facility i goto if i need an incare nursing facility.Let me share the horror story of what i jad to deal with fron thw Widows Home of Dayron.Do not stay or let anyone you care about stay at this facility.First of all, their staff has stolen food that was purchased and was in a secured staff area. When i talk to other patients, they told me of finding money and other things stolen from their rooms. And don't complain. Then they will do little to help you and try to expedite you leaving the facility. And when they do receive orders to extend your stay, they lie and don't tell you they received the paperwork. Also, they are not very timely on giving you the proper medications. I am on pain medication for a chronic back issue. My pain meds were held for over 40 hours between doses and they tried to convince me it was my fault. This is a very disgraceful place and you should stay away unless you want your property stolen, you medications withheld and substandard care, then you are at the right place. And if you are an invalid or incoherent they have trouble dealing with you. And especially don't play around and joke with the nurses even though they pull practical jokes on you.So choose a place with the reputtation thet Sanctuary at Wilmington Place has and save yourself the hassle.

Not sure what some are saying here but my mother has been here 3 years. As Mrs Gore stated a bologna sandwich is ubsurd never have I seen! The staff and the nurses have been efficient, polite, and quick! Sorry negative remarks not needed. I will also say this not only my mother has been there but a couple of others. Breakfast, lunch, dinner is all served healthy style I've eaten there. For the ones that are negative your the problem, your not there 24/7 maybe there have been issues there but address it instead of complaining on a website. I've complained about a housekeeping incident was fixed same day, Their rehab is amazing as well my mother has lost over a 100lb! Recommend highly!
