This place is one of the best. The staff is very friendly. Very helpful. They go out of their way to make a person and their family feel comfortable. If someone couldn't answer something they found someone who could. There is odors, but it is a nursing home, people have accidents and the scent doesn't fade right away, there are 100 people using the bathroom, you are going to have lingering smells until it goes away. Residents fight the staff so sometimes doing care is hard, ask yourself that before you dog on workers who are taking care of our family.I know my gramps put up a tough fight at times, but he was always clean, taken care of, fed and showered. For that i am very grateful. The lady at the front desk is awesome, went out of her way to make sure his phone was working, would go and check on him when he wouldn't answer. The admissions lady is very wonderful. She really helped my parents when it was time to make the decision to place gramps in a nursing home. She needs a huge hug for all her help. The nurses on the hallway he was on, were amazing. They always seemed to help each other out. They always made time for our questions. Thank you for that. I highly recommend this place! The best people, the food was great according to gramps. Wish i could rate them higher. Very professional people. They know what they're doing and our thanks just aren't enough credit for those people at Genesis. Thank you for doing what it is you do.
