Before COVID when we could visit our loved one in this facility on a daily basis things were ok. While we understand that closing the facility due to COVID was a necessary step, our loved one went steadily downhill as soon as the facility was closed to visitors. She did not receive proper care with hygiene and with medical screenings after the facility was closed to the public resulting in an extended hospital stay. The non-medical staff at this facility is great, but the medical team does not care about the residents. The Executive Director needs to go, she does not make the medical team treat the residents well and with respect. Our loved one was at this facility for 1 1/2 years and it has steadily gone down hill. I would beware about placing your loved one in this facility.UPDATE: 6/29/20 - it is interesting to read the facility's response. Had the Executive Director returned our phone calls like she said she would, she could have learned everything about this situation that she needed to know. She clearly wanted our loved one removed from this facility and dumped her on the hospital for treatment of a routine infection. This has caused our loved one much unnecessary trauma.
