Wonderful display of the history and progression of decoy making on the first floor with a town-by-town display of the heritage and founding of the down east area on the second floor. The third floor lays host to the 'hawks nest' that offers a panoramic view of the sound and Cape Lookout lighthouse.

The outstanding exhibits and the spacing offer visitors the room to read and enjoy the many historical and informational artifacts from the region. The children's area was especially a warm place for two of our grandchildren.
