My mom has been at Addison memory care in Durham, NC for about three years. She loves it, loves the care that she receives and the staff. They have been very attentive and responsive to her needs. Today, I had a specific concern, made a call and it was handled within 15 minutes or faster-I spoke with Gerjuanna H. She was so pleasant and attentive to my mother as all of the staff typically is. Addison has a real asset with Gerjuanna, please do what you can to keep her with your staff--she has a genuine caring heart! Thank you Gerjuanna for caring for our most vulnerable!! May God keep and bless you! You are the MOST essential!!

The place did appear to be sparkling clean...Ill give it that. But after an initial wonderful first few months for my mother, her experience spiraled into a nightmare. She lived in the assisted living side. At first, there seemed to be adequate, and caring, staff. But not long after, both the staff and any modicum of caring or professionalism diminished. Her purse was stolen. Her treasured bracelet went missing (the one piece of jewelry she insisted on keeping with her), and several other of her personal possessions just disappeared. We couldnt move her out of that place fast enough!!!

I have visited a resident of Addison three times over the last few weeks. I stayed for almost 2 hours each time. I think it is a wonderful place, so clean and well lit with sunshine. Most important, the staff is so caring, conscientious and willing to help with every need. If I had a relative who was in need of care, this would probably be my first choice.

A very well put together place. As far as the atmosphere. The Main staff are very unorganized, Somewhat friendly but truly incapable of running the place effectively. I say that because I went into employment at this facility for two reasons I love the elderly and I wanted to see if they have the compassionate Care that I am seeking for my 93 yr old Grandmother.. PCA staff do their best with the non training they claim not to receive... I as housekeeping received no formal training no OSHA training No environmental training No personal protection classes No Real Staff knowing rules such as use the back entrance for employees.. No scrub brush no use of a clean toilet brush on walls even if it's fresh out of pack.( Yes I was wrong .Eve though I was cleaning up feces on the wall. The Head Staff are in so much covering up the minor things that the major things like patient care patient feedings meds being passed on time keeping them dry hem down to Iwitness bed sores ive housekeep they suggested We buy our own cleaning supplies..yeah not right it's a mad house The facility.. dressed up like a dream house Head people show up to work all fancy just to make it seem they are doing the very best WHEN ONLY THEY ARE DOING THE BARE MINIMUM TO KEEP THE DOORS OPEN...NOW JUST FOR THE RECORD I GOT RELIEVED FROM MY JOB BECAUSE I DIDN'T MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH MY SUPERVISOR AND THAT AS I WALKED ONTO THE PORCH FACILITY WITH MY PHONE IN HAND I WAS IN VIOLATION ECT SIMPLE MINDED THINGS THAT MY SUPERVISOR CLAIMS SHE WOULDN'T RIGHT ME UP ON FORMAL PAPERWORK.. I JUST WANTED TO LET THE TRUE CARILLON Durhmite HEADMASTER'S MAKE THEM CLEAN UO THEIR ACTS BEFORE THINGS GET SHUT DOWN .
