This is a place that feels like home. I love being on the side of a little mountain at the beginning of the Blue Ridge. The rooms are nice sized, lots of light. I love my third floor apartment, which is literally in the treetops. The staff here is caring and go the extra mile. The maintenance and housekeeping staffs are very warm and friendly. They are accommodating. I like that this community is small and everyone is friendly. Its just great to live here!!!

I am the Program Director for a contract Rehabilitation group and have been fortunate to be a part of this community for the past year. The staff has been very welcoming and supportive for myself and my staff, and they treat the residents with dignity and respect. Many of the employees give a lot back to the residents beyond just doing their jobs. After working in several settings I've learned that you judge a place on whether or not you would place your loved ones there to be taken care of. I absolutely would trust the staff and management with the care of my family.

The staff was very helpful when we moved our mothers to Laurelwoods. The nurse and dietician met us when we checked in Saturday afternoon. They fixed a late lunch and asked questions to help with the transition. The director stopped by and has helped get everything arranged and connected to help make everyone comfortable. We are very happy with the positive environment.
