After 9 years I still look forward to coming here to be with my friends! The residents are amazing, they are what makes this place special! Will Rogers is a great benefit for the Village of Saranac Lake.

My mom was here for 5 years and now my aunt is here. Lovely place because the staff is so caring. Jamie and Hannah are a huge asset to the management and service. I look forward to being old enough to live here too. Love the architecture.

I have had two family members benefit from the fantastic care and services provided by Saranac Village at Will Rogers in Saranac Lake. The first, my Aunt, was a resident from April 2004, until August 2018. Recognizing that Will Rogers is an independent living environment for seniors was why we originally investigated Will Rogers for our loved one. My Aunts stay at Will Rogers was a phenomenal experience for her and my family. She immediately developed a true bond with the staff and administration to the point that she requested the director of Will Rogers serve as a pall bearer at her funeral.Over the years, my Aunt developed increased care needs. The Will Rogers administration worked with us to identify qualified care givers we could hire. When the time came that she could no longer stay at Will Rogers, due to the level of care she required Will Rogers administration helped us identify a reasonable priced assisted living arrangement.Based on our experience with our Aunt, the choice was very simple when in 2015, it came time for my mother to move to a senior living arrangement. Mom, soon to be 99 years young, loves it there. The level and number of available activities are tremendous. I credit her participation in these activities with extending her golden years and giving her a new lease on life. Of special benefit to Mom are her exercise, pinochle, and knitting sessions. Though a lifelong teetotaler she even enjoys occasional participation in the happy hour gathering where she catches up with old friends and meets new friends. Every member of the staff and administration we have dealt with has been caring and helpful. The longevity of both is a testimony to the environment. I handle(d) both my aunts and my mothers finances. From a fiscal point I am happy that not only is the cost of living at Will Rogers very reasonable but is less than the monthly cost I was spending for Mom to live in her own home.My Aunt and now my Mother have benefited from Saranac Village at Will Rogers, allowing them to continue their independent living in their lifelong communities.

Great facility but lacks nursing staff and a dietician yet promotes alcohol abuse by having a free Happy Hour and neglects therapy or counciling for residents making it difficult for other residents that try to live there peacefullyIts an expensive place to live when you pay for your own abuse and its a poor community where you have to pay for others peoples sickness
