Plattsburgh Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

If you are thinking about a Rehab center for yourself or anyone in your family think about searching for some place else. My wife was there barley two hours and had to be sent back to the hospital via ambulance due to a fall. She had been trying to ring the nurse call button (which was not working) she had to go to the bathroom. She just had hip surgery so she had to have help walking. After no help arrived she had to use the restroom, which by the way was not located in her room but across the hall, she attempted to get out of bed by herself. She immediately fell hitting her head on the springs of the empty bed next to hers and cutting her fingers and breaking her glasses. after laying there on the floor for some time a patient walking the hall saw her lying there and summoned help from one of the caretakers who were all down hall at the front desk gabbing.When she was released from the emergency care center at CVPH after numerous x rays and several stitches to her head and hand I took her straight home. No way was she going back to that rehab center.TAKE HEED AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I write this review as a former employee. I enjoyed my time working for PRNC; I appreciated working at a place where the residents always came first, where I could work from and learn from a great team, and where my coworkers became my close friends. I saw many residents come and go, and I am proud to say that at PRNC, I felt like my residents were my family.

Great staff great food great rehab wouldn't go anywhere else love Plattsburgh rehab

No experience with this place but i am a 50 year old disabled oncology, palliative care and chemo certified RN. I lost my brakes on willsboro mountain 2 daya ago and one of your cnas started a road rage incident that was very dangerous as i was trying not to hit her and her boyfriend but the brake jobbed me. Swerved into passing lane and flipped me off. I got around them and pulled into the local garage where your cna taylor marie beat me up punching me in the head many times, pulling my hair and eventually throwing me to the ground. I am crippled with a rare and severe form of systemic arthritis so she hurt me pretty badly.I did not do anything but try to keep her from scalping me. I learned since, she is cooking meth in the house with a child living there. As you know i am a mandated reporter. She has also done something very similar to my daughter because she felt she was flirting with her boyfriend. My daughter was doing her job and being friendly. Taylor flipped out slammimg her fist in the countet and screaming threats at my daughter.This was caught on cameta at the village meat market in willsboro. My incident was witnessed by 2 people at reynolds garage in town. She assaulted me and i never raised a finger. As she was punching me in the head , the biyfriend told cops i was assaulting her. Witnesses told the truth. He also jumped in front of my cat aftet i got up and tried to get away. He told the cop i tried to hit him. In light of the drugs and unethical behavior that seems to be escalating, i am telling you bbecause i would never want a patient subjected to harsh treatment or neglect.this girl us outta control Thank you for your timeRebecca Crowningshield RN
