Manor At Seneca Hill

Other sites refused my review because they did not want what happened to my family let out. That said, my father was in Seneca Manor several years. While what staff they do have are great, and their facilities modern and clean, they-like ALL nursing homes are EXTREMELY understaffed, and the patients/residents are hurt by it. I was there a couple of months ago. I witnessed residents literally screaming for help for over an hour. My dad had fallen SEVERAL times while trying to go to the bathroom, yet no alarm was placed on him. (Customary nursing practice) The last time he fell, he broke his hip. Two days later, he died from complications of that fall. I recommend ANY person who needs help with an older relative to remodel their house into a disability friendly one and hire private help. It will not only be cheaper, but safer for their loved one. Government regulations restrict the ability of ALL nursing homes and, as a result, they are cutting staff to VERY unsafe levels. Other people gave similar reviews but , like me, many of their reviews are not posted.
