I would just like to thank everyone who works here. You all work so hard to keep your residents happy. My parents have been here since May of this year and I feel that the staff has been amazing with them. I along with my brother and sisters appreciate everything you do for them. So thank you so much Valley View Manor..

20 to 1 resident/patient to staff ratio. That's 2 aides and 1 nurse for 40 people. Grossly understaffed. 4 residents to 1 bathroom. Tiny rooms for 2 residents. But when the VIP's came through there were suddenly more staff, until the VIP's left, then so did the staff. 2 days before my father was to be transferred to the Veterans Home, they threatened us to not release him until the bill was paid in full. Hold someone for ransom? Really. ILLEGAL!!! One phone call from the lawyer settled that and of course they denied it to him. Staff there are doing the best they can but they are only human too and are insanely overworked. Even the hospital staff advised us to get Dad out of there as soon as possible. Thankfully he's in the AMAZING Vets Home. I feel aweful for the staff and residents left at this place under current ownership and management. They can and need to do better.

Find any nursing home other than this place. The place is horrendous and have plenty of horror stories Dealt with it for 2 years with MANY staff changes and never gets better. Been to many nursing homes to visit and this is the worse I've seen. Also if you go to the official Medicare.gov site that reviews quality of care, they have 1 star.... theres other nursing homes in the area with 3 to 5 stars. Please do more research on where you send your love ones than just google reviews , we regretfully wish we had.
