George has been there almost a year. We are both very happy with the staff and the treatment he receives. Very caring employees! The food could be a little better, but not bad. A friend of mine was there, as a patient, and said it's the best place in Norwich. I agree.

They were on the upward swing but recently they've hired some nurses that seem like they just simply don't care. One nurse left my aunt alone when my uncle BEGGED her not to, only to have my aunt pass. We found out that this nurse thinks she's 'better than everyone else' and it shows in how she interacts with everyone. Apparently her family member is an administrator there too and between the both of them, the place is falling apart again. They need to hire nurses that are caring, don't need to be called 'heroes' and aren't just in it for the money.

My mom went to visit my dad after less than 24 hrs there. When she walked in she found him hanging upside down in his bed in a diabetic coma. His sugar was down to 43. There was a nurse in the bathroom in his room who had no clue what was going on and the facility claimed they didn't know he was a diabetic. Um, can they read to begin with?
