The facility is understaffed. The food is disgusting, typically it was cold. That being said, the staff was amazing. The nurses aides and nursing staff took time to get to know our mother. They showed support for her struggles and complimented her accomplishments. They all treated her with respect. The cleaning crew keeps this place very clean. The recreation team helped to make life interesting in this setting. The OT/PT team got her moving and home. Mom was here for rehab after a fall. My review is based on our experience on the rehab unit.

The staff was very caring. My mom lived here 4 years. Dr J is amazing and compassionate.

0 stars. I'm in shock. I found out today that a family friend Mom has been living at Sapphire. He took care of her for years at home until it was just too hard. He recieved a call this morning from the FUNERAL HOME. They wanted him to know that his Mom was now there. He was NEVER contacted by this facility!! He asked when she passed, and they said yesterday morning. This is WRONG on every level possible. He is so upset. And we are upset for him. Who DOES THAT! Who doesn't contact the next of kin?? This place doesn't. She was also hospitalized and he was never told that either.
