Cook Adult Home

2 of these reviews are obviously by disgruntled employee , you really need to know the staff that has been there for years & several have been there for more than five years. All residents past & present can attest to the care & service provided by staff & owner .

The home setting and location is nice, unfortunately that's not the case as far as the care and treatment for those who actually reside in the home. The people who are employed are treated with the utmost kindness and respect while those who reside in the home are treated very unfairly, concerns, complaints and even medical care goes ignored. I would recommend going elsewhere for a family member.

This is NOT a place where I'd want nor suggest a loved one to stay. Many things have occurred at this 'place of business' that have been overlooked and no action taken place. For example, an employee had taken it upon themself to fall asleep in a residents bed, while the resident staying in that room had fallen onto the floor and fell asleep there, (no consequences were made) medications have come up missing, residents are not fed dinner at the time their support to, personal items in residents rooms have come up missing, some residents are even accused of things that they did not do. The owner of this 'business' is very money hungry, he doesn't treat his employees with the respect and encouragement they deserve (one employee to be exact). This 'business' comes across more as a hangout and party place more than a place for loved ones to be properly and safely taken care of. I will never recommend The Cook Adult Home to anyone!
