You have to be recertified each year, rent is based on income, medical, etc. My rent went down. This is HUD, rules apply. Before you post know the facts.

Don't move here, don't allow your loved one to move here. They raise your rent with little notice or rationale. My family member died when living here and they charged me for services (food, laundry, cleaning) that he never received. They told the family we had two weeks to clean out the apartment and then, after we did this, not before, they sprang it on us that we owed rent for those two weeks. Tried to reason with them and now I have an attorney. That's how they do things over there-always trying to get more money from residents (or former residents). Office staff creates a culture where residents feel afraid. It's a shame because the apartments are nice, the location is super.
