My 90 yo mom had kosher meals on wheels delivered for about 2 years which was great. Then, her health declined and she needed an aide 24 7 so her services were discontinued. Apparently they don't give you meals if you have an aide bc they claim the aide can prepare the meals. I told them the aide is not jewish and doesn't know how to prepare kosher meals. The supervisor answered ' Teach her how to cook and prepare kosher food. 'In my opinion this was an insult and very much a deragatory remark with no regard to the Jewish preparation of food.
