It's a pleasant nursing home near NYC and the staff seems friendly. The building can use a little freshening up.

The state or county should close this facility down. The 2 stars it has is more than it deserves. They do not take care of your family members properly. They leave them in wheel chairs all day and never attend to their needs. I watched staff ignore patients when they call for help. The state/county should make an unscheduled walk thru on these floors to see what is really going on there. They steal patients clothing and then lie about it. They ignore their well being and on top of all that, their medical equipments doesnt really work properly to give a proper reading on hbp or temperature..

My father is being forced to stay in this facility through Medicare and honestly its appalling. Nothing is clean. From the feces on the floor and walls to the build up of grime on windows and door hinges. This place should be condemned and the owner should be thrown in jail. The nursing staff steals clothing that we bring in for my father, and even worse, we have come in to find him wearing women's clothing, pants that are tight so the button and fly are open. He is always bruised up as if they beat him. My mom will get a call that he stopped eating and has lost weight. Yet when we visit, he does eat. We witnessed a nurse try to spoon feed him once and he wouldn't take it on the first try so she threw down the spoon and yelled 'FINE! DONT EAT THAN!' We sat down and he took a bite on the 2nd try. Everyone is rude. I am actively looking for a way to either change this facility or get them shut down. How can the state allow people to be treated this way? For profit facility, taking $16k every month, per patient. 200 beds. Do the math. Who is pocketing this?

this place is sleazy, dirty and gross! The employees are not helpful at all and meet having your call disconnected. DO NOT even think twice of putting anyone here. I'm calling the board of health on them.
