This place is the pits. The ppl are nasty, the beds are lumpy, they are nasty to ambulance attendants, they dont even bother to check on you. All the employees care about is going on their break. You would be better off in Rikers Island . This horror doesnt even deserve one star - this place should close . I feel sorry for anyone staying there - u are better off dead !!!!!

Over 100 degrees last week and the air conditioning went out and no return phone call from supervisors. They put 3 people in a room with hardly any space and ignore requests for room change.

This place is worse . The staff is not trained properly they dont even know how to do put in IVs for patient medications. And do not communicate with one another on the patients needs . The facility is dirty they dont clean very well . If you put your love one there health will decline and become worse and die in there hands . They are better to go to Rikers island

Great great Nursing Home! Mom was at Garden Care Center and I had two uncles there recently. Staff is phenomenal, very pleasant, caring and very importantly, responsive!!! Rooms/building are new, nice, large, bright and spacious. Rehab department is top, they have PT 7 days a week which was initially why we chose Garden care Center over other nursing home (plus it came in highly recommended). Recreation department does a great job, always something exciting happening. They have a lot of activities, parties, concerts and trips. Always a positive atmosphere there, would totally recommend!!
