Riverside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

Im not sure why there are so many negative reviews - I have to wonder if some people are actually reviewing a different location than the home at Castleton-on-Hudson. My mother was there for 6 years until she passed. During that entire time, she was confirmed to a wheelchair or her bed and never had a single bedsore, which I think is a good testimony for the care she received. My entire family was and continues to be grateful for the loving care she received while there. It was lightyears better than the care she received at the assisted living place she was before that. The staff at Riverside genuinely cared about my Mom and also comforted us as we were visiting my Mom during her final days. My sisters and I would visit at random times and never noticed any of the deplorable conditions mentioned by others, nor did we witness any disrespect by the staff. On the occasions where we did point out something to the staff (like a dirty air vent in her room), they took care of it immediately. This place was a blessing for us and I am so grateful that my Mom was placed there.

I have worked here for a quiet some time, and no, we are not a perfect facility, but the staff care tremendously about the residents and put their heart into the care. Our staff come in to work day in and day out to care for our loved ones here. The administrator, the DON and ADON are kind and very nice to work with. We have come a very long way and I am very happy to be a part of the team here at Riverside! Stronger Together.. Our Family Taking Care of Families

After going in and touring the facility I found the facility to be welcoming and the staff was very friendly.
