Pat was wonderful at listening to my concerns about live in care and assuring me that his staff was vetted and trained. He also made me realize that while my family was afraid of COVID from a caregiver, they were just as afraid of getting it. We have 2 caregivers for my mother and both are careful, afraid of COVID, sanitize hands, mask etc. We are very happy with the level of care, the kindness of both in taking care of my mom. We've had other agencies, private people, but I was very happy with A Gentle Touch. Pat, the owner checks in regularly to make sure everything is okay. (I never heard from agencies, after they placed the person in the past). Pat really cares about getting the right fit, and making sure that it is still working. I think that with his commitment to the business and the people that he hires, I am very happy we choose his agency over the others that I interviewed. I know that no matter what I will get the right person and I have a business that cares about keeping their word.

I initially contacted A Gentle Touch to arrange for part-time care for my mother at her assisted living facility. I spoke with Pat Ryan, Jr., who was extremely helpful. I then spoke with Gale for scheduling, and she was able to find me someone who could do two split-shifts a day, since we only wanted help for a couple of hours in the morning and in the evening -- which is really hard to find. As we were about to start my mother had to be hospitalized, so I postponed the care. From there my mother went to a rehab facility that could not meet her other needs. I contacted Gale and she quickly found me full-time coverage for the days we needed it. The flexibility, understanding and friendliness of everyone I spoke to at this agency were outstanding and most appreciated at a very stressful time. I also met one of the aides and she was terrific with my mother. I highly recommend this agency.

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents (and from my Dad's Email Address). Gentle Touch went out of their way on Christmas Eve to procure an excellent HHA for us for the following week. They were courteous, efficient, and the aide that was placed with us was excellent. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected medical news on my parents, we were forced to relocate them to another state to see specific medical specialists, and we had to terminate our services with GT for a bit. GT was unbelievably understanding, and provided us with a full refund on unused days of services. I HIGHLY recommend using this company, and will use them again, if my parents come back to the area.
