I was a patient at the grand for awhile. The staff treated me with respect and understanding. They definitely go above and beyond.

I was a patient at the grand and let me just say they treat you like family. From the moment I got there until I left they made sure I was comfortable. The staff was amazing always helpful and knowledgeable. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

To put a very long story short, they neglected my grandmother which led to an earlier than expected death. They keep deleting my rating, but our complaints did get them checked on by the state and they were found in violation.

Our family member stayed for for a couple months. I give this a 3 star for a few reasons. I had staff who went above and beyond, and other staff who were awful. Starters: Chris (nurse), Hilary (finance), and Julie (pt) went above and beyond for my mother. The care that Chris provided was great. When we had a concern she would give us details to our moms care, and we knew she was being taken care of. Hilary dealt with lots of questions and concerns, always made time for us to meet with her when we had questions regarding payment and future plans, very thorough and made sure we understood before leaving. Anytime we came in, Hilary made sure to say hello with a smile on her face, and my mother loved her bubbly personality. Julie helped my mom in pt and she was very compassionate. Julie assisted my mother and was always patient. When we would see my mother with Julie, we were always happy to see that mom wasnt struggling, but smiling. Those three staff deserve to be recognized for their dedication to the residents and families. The two stars that are missing are due to the way the certified nurses speak in the hallways. We would hear them making fun of residents. Thankfully my mother was not near the stations to hear the conversations my wife and I heard in passing.
