Horizon Care Center

My uncle was placed in Horizon Care Center back in November 2018 without permission because the nursing-home he was in did not have room anymore and he was a Medicaid person. I was upset and scared for him with that said I can now say I am so happy he was placed there. Unfortunately he has passed away due to the virus and I can only speak for the fourth floor nursing staff but they were excellent during his stay. They treat their residents with respect. It is hard to get someone to answer on the phone but that is because they are always working with their patients. I would come in from out of town unannounced and I would always notice a clean environment and working staff. I can also say security is great and friendly. Mr. Mike is awesome. I also have to say that social worker Mrs. Taylor is the best person ever. She always kept my mother and I posted regularly on my uncle. Finally, when I needed the most support during my uncles last couple of days, their in-house doctor (Dr. Elkin) and Ms. Alyson (social worker) and the financial department were awesome. Thank you for taking care of my uncle.

The staff at horizon care have been great to my mom for a couple of years now. She's finally stable after many years. They are kind and helpful when we go and visit. It's a far way to travel for us, but its hard to find people you trust to care for your family

I worked there for over 3 1/2 years and some things wasn't right.
