I've been working there over 6 months now I'd have to say it's my best job ever. It takes a special kind of person to work here. All the other staff are super nice. I truly care for all the residents here I feel like they are my children. There my reason for showing up to work every day. It makes me feel good at the end of my shifts that I made them feel loved and appreciated and made there day better cuz they really need that. The higher ups go above and beyond for all there employees and residents. They care about all the staff as much as they care about there residents and they care alot about the residents. Especially the owner Dr. Lena she is truly passionate about caring for dementia patients.

My father lived here for four years in the Alzheiner's unit. He had excellent care, and staff communicated extremely well with my mother. My children and I were always invites to stay and have a meal with my dad if it was mealtime. I dropped in irregularly and never saw anything to be concerned about. As he prpgressed, they worked well with the Hospice provider. His end of life care, and ours, was top- notch. They were helpful, understanding and minimized both his fear and pain very well and made us welcome to stay or go as we needed during an emotional time. I trusted the staff completely and may return with my mother for her end of life care if needed. I can recommend The Retreat without reservation.

I use to work there and I loved it .... they treat there people just like family .. workers and resident's .... only quit cuz I moved out of state!
