I worked here for a while. Please don't put you loved ones here. They don't know what they're doing. The residents are not being taken care of. It's so sad!

The name GoodLife is really suitable for this assistant loving home. When you walk in you see the residents are happy and thriving. The staff is amazing they always greet you with a warm friendly smile and are eager to assist in anyway they can. The atmosphere is filled with so much love and compassion it makes leaving your loved one in their care that much easier.

My 92 year old mother has lived at the GoodLife in Hobbs for over two years. The design of the building allows the residents to have their own good sized room, containing their own furniture, if desired, and their private bathroom. Under new site management, the kind and caring staff members are trained well and the residents are supervised according to their various levels of need. Meals are served in the common dining room, though residents may request or require their meals in their rooms as well. The building feels like a private home rather than an institution and the center has just begun a new set of voluntary activities for the residents. Should residents require more care, the GL staff work together with all the hospice groups in Hobbs to provide care. My mother, who is experiencing dementia issues, as are many of the residents, is safe, comfortable, and finds all the staff to be loving and kind. Granted, no place is perfect when elderly people have to leave their own homes and can't live with family but we feel this is the next best thing!
