Brookdale Tramway Ridge

While I cant speak to the quality of care at this facility, I can say that they are exceptionally poor neighbors. Recently my 12-year-old son and I were walking our dog past Brookdale (like we have every day for two years) when two people started yelling at us to get off their sidewalk. Most of the yelling was directed at my young son, who was confused and frightened by the episode. What bothered me the most about this incident (other than two strangers screaming at my son) was that one of the people yelling at us was a security guard.Unless Brookdale has purchased that sidewalk from the City of Albuquerque, they have no right to try to bully neighbors into staying off it. I have no idea why they would behave so aggressively. Our dog was not, and has never been, on Brookdale property. Again, we were simply walking by, enjoying our Sunday morning. Thanks, Brookdale, for terrifying my son.

You could be risking your family members if you have them live here. The reason I say this is because the care staff who work here cause a continuous overturn in nursing staff. Essentially, they run nurses out and seem to have a vendetta against them. This puts the residents at risk, having a high turnover of nurses because as soon as a nurse learns the position and becomes familiar with the residents, she either quits or is fired based on rumors from care staff that are meaner than mean girls in high school. Upper management and even corporate seem to condone this cliquish behavior from the care staff. I also must say that lately corporate has been micromanaging this location to an extreme level which is also not good for residents or staff. The ED discriminates against staff and will also gossip behind their back. Its a dog eat dog world at this Brookdale location, and the residents suffer because of it. Last but not least, this location has one of the highest elderly fall rates in the entire state of New Mexico. This is often due to neglect of the residents and locking their wheelchairs and leaving them unattended. I do not recommend this location if you want what is best for your loved one.

Great place to have your loved one get great care and looked after with love . i love that they make fresh meals daily and have different activities ive worked at. One other place .And this staff and management blow the competition out of here
