My father is currently in this facility under what we all know to be extremely difficult times. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have some extremely caring and wonderful people helping him to adjust in this very volatile time. Pamela Ireland, Director of Guest Services, has been a Godsend! She has been extremely helpful and gone over and above to ensure my fathers anxiety level has been kept as low as possible. She was kind enough to suggest FaceTime, so that he and I can communicate on a more personal level. I dont know where we would be without her. The nurses, Mike Loewe, from sub acute, Tim Selover, and Kathleen Davis have been instrumental in his care, as well. Pamela Ireland has helped me when she was off duty!! Who does that?? She recognized my desperection at not being able to visit him, and did not hesitate to assist me on her own time on several occasions. His therapist in the sub acute unit, and Rob from maintenance also have been wonderful!! I cant thank this wonderful team of special people enough, and I want to share my heart felt thank you!

I was here for over a month & even after that long, I was kinda sad when I found out my discharge date. It kinda felt like I was on vacation & then was told I had to go home early. This was the 2nd rehab facility I have been to & the patient care here was amazing. The staff, from housekeeping to directors all seem to genuinely care for the residents. They treat you as if they have known you forever and if you need something, just ask & they will do their best to get it for you. Especially Pam. She will do whatever she can to make her residents happy, even painting your nails if thats what you want. She is always walking around the building & either handing out newspapers, dishing out soup & drinks at lunch or just popping in to make sure you are ok or if you need something. The aides & nurses are the same way. I had the most experience with Jack as my aide & Tim & Sandy as my nurses. Jack is awesome. He comes in with a smile & dancing or singing every day. No matter how busy he is, he always took time to get me my pepsi from the fridge or whatever I asked him for & always with a smile. Most of the time he knew what I wanted before I asked just by the time of day. Tim & Sandy were always there with my meds on time. The therapy staff were All great also. They worked you as much as you could handle .I feel amazing after all my sessions. If I ever need to do this again I wouldn't hesitate to come back. I am actually going to miss this place when I leave next week. But I will be back for visits. I feel like I have made a whole group of new friends. Thank you to everyone who had a part in my recovery. I will miss them all! I wish I could name every one of them here but there are way too many names to list. Everyone worked very hard to make my stay pleasant & comfortable. The whole facility deserves every one of the 5 stars.I am back for my 2nd stay at Autumn Lake. I was very nervous after hearing about Nursing homes & covid-19 but I wouldn't want to be in any other facility. The staff works really hard to protect us from the virus. They took action immediately to reduce the possibility of it being brought in from the outside. And altho we can't have visitors, they have encouraged window visits, set up face time calls, organized a family/friends parade & kept us busy with different activities. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work to keep us safe.
