After visiting an elderly friend here a few times I was disappointed in the quality of care she had received. She was sent there for rehab after a hospital stay. Lack of consideration to dietary requests (soup), meals left on the tray with no assistance offered to help her, simple requests ignored such as fresh ice water, door and shades open/closed. After questioning the lack of eating they recommended us bringing in protein shakes for her to drink. How does a place full of elderly patients with no teeth not have soup or protein shakes. Thank god she was sent back to Dartmouth because she was home within a few weeks and doing better.

I absolutely love this facility n the residents BUT THERE ARE TO HIER UPS WHO DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH PEOPLE THEY CLEARLY CAN NOT DO THERE JOB AND HARASSING THE STAFF AND BEING BULLIES sadly thats why I had to walk out of a job I absolutely loved

My friend has been at Laconia Rehab Center for almost a year, and will be there for the rest of her life. I am grateful to the staff for so many things. Every time I visit every single staff member is respectful and attentive; to me, but more importantly, to her. Although she is unresponsive, she is treated as a person deserving respect and care. She is always clean and her extraordinary medical needs are well taken care of. My biggest worry was that she would develop bed sores, but to the credit of the entire nursing staff, her skin is fine. Thank you Laconia Center for your good care of my dear friend.
