My Mom has spent time in both assisted living and skilled nursing for a couple of years now. The facility could use some TLC and sometimes the meals aren't exactly the greatest but I've found the staff.. especially the hard working nurses and CNAs to be competent, compassionate, empathetic and just plain incredible!

Eden Village in Glen Carbon, IL is One of the WORST JOBS & Places in America!!!! Most of the Employees Act Extremely Childish, Gossip too much! Very Unprofessional!! The Management and Staff Communication Skills are terrible. They don't let you know Anything until the last minute even if they let you know anything at all, Uncaring to the Residents there and Employees who will aactually work!! They act like High School kids even Middle School kids the CNA 'should don't really help the residents either!! Etc.... Just a bad place for residents and hard working employees!! The pay is behind the times too don't want to pay you for the hard work you do!!!

My Mother in law had wedding band stolen from a staff member rightroff her finger -had Alzheimer's and was clearly taken advantage of - police report has been filed and investigation underway. Do not allow anything of value to go into a hospice center with a loved one as it could 'mysteriously' disappear

Potential employees be careful!! This facility has a policy book but only picks and chooses what they want to follow.
