Absolutely the best place to live! Management is very caring and responsive. The apartments are single story and truly maintenance-free for renters. A very quiet neighborhood with a lot of amenities. A great 55 and over place to live!!

I was very disappointed. I thought the place had higher standards. There were many little things that should have been done better. I would suggest that you see the exact apartment you will be moving into before signing anything.

Have now lived at this community for 3 weeks. 1. Upon move in, refrigerator not working and 17 cigarette burns in living room carpet of apartment - holes were not tiny as in owner comments. Was told to fill out a form. A week later needed to discuss with the office before the issue was fixed - these issues should have been resolved prior to my move in.2. Took a 2 hr. nutrition/wellness class 3 times. This class was nothing more than an infomercial for a product being sold - Juice Plus - which was being promoted to residents for purchase by the activity director. I asked management why a class that I pay for as part of my residency was a hustle for a product being sold. Was told I was disruptive.As of this morning I am now banned from ALL ACTIVITIES for speaking truth. Management is rude, unprofessional, combative. Treating customers who are residents with threats instead of resolution is unacceptable business practice and should be looked at in depth by state and federal agencies. UPDATE - Late this afternoon the manager of the complex sounded me while I was sitting with 5 other women in the great room. Same happened with the activity director after questioning the Juice Plus product last week - sounded in front of a group of people. Tonight I asked for my lease to be terminated without penalty at end of this month and will move. The manager agreed with this in front of a group of people and I am to receive a letter releasing me from the lease with this company. I recommend to any senior looking for a serene setting to avoid this place like the plague. Residents are wonderful. Maintenance staff are wonderful. Administrative staff are horrible - there needs to be a complete attitude adjustment on how to treat the customer. Disturbing experience for a just widowed senior, and have only lived here 3 weeks.

I have lived here for two months. My work orders where done in a manner where it was convenient for myself and maintenance. However, something happened to me that was very personal and the community stepped in to help me. I had in Epileptic Episode. I was on my walker going to the mail room. People saw me and did not understand what was happening. I usually am exercising in the fitness center. Thecommunity ran towards me trying to help me. The office Management came out of the office. People calling the ambulance Rosalind, Sophia, Jaejae all where helping me the ambulance came, the Fire department.Sophia made sure no one hit me as they where driving. Rosalind helped me in my apt Jaejae was on the phone with the Hospital getting instruction from the ER what to do until the Ambulance got there. I was not expecting anyone to help me. It was something that I have been dealing with as just a part of my daily life. but this time it was worse. Thank GOD I was surrounded around People who care. Destination Alexander.

Awesome amenities and social events for residents. Observed various dance classes, exercise classes, and a sewing/craft room. Stayed as a guest in the guest suite and really enjoyed the pool. It was quiet. The lounge chairs, padded furniture, umbrella tables and BBQ grills were all really nice and looked new.

I have been living here for 5 years. The single story condo units make you feel right at home. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The staff is professional and courteous. There are many amenities and numerous activities to accommodate us all. It is a great place to live.

Applied for an apartment here and they took $250 out of my bank account and said I'd get it back if I didn't qualify. Well I didn't qualify but 2 months later and I am still trying to get my money back. They take my name and number but never return my calls.Save yourself and don't go here.

I went to visit a family member and this place is soooo nice! Beautiful apartments that are thoughtful of my aging family member's needs, transportation to places so they don't need to drive, and active social areas to spend time with friends playing pool or lounging by a fire place. I'm glad my family member lives in such a great senior community.

I had such a pleasant experience this morning at the office of my community, I went in with an issue with my cable and internet being moved to my new unit and the whole staff, Candice, Cathy, Steven all stopped what they were working on and got on the phone and got me everything I need and all moved over within the same day. This is a fine gated community which caters to seniors. The staff here, including the maintenance staff, are caring, polite, and professional. The set up here is a series of clusters of homes ranging from 1 BR to 2 bath 2 bedroom homes. NO ONE lives on top of you. The homes look like a cluster of well kept condos. You can do as much or as little as you want in this gated community. They have a private bus which travels to casinos, banks, stores, restaurants, shopping, lunches, dinners etc. They publish a list of destinations and dates a month in advance. All you do is sign up for the trip. The club house is always busy bingo, exercises, community church, parties, lunches, dinners etc. The bus is wheel chair equipped.. The neighbors are friendly for the most part. They have reserved parking (for a fee) and some private garages. A great place to live - I'm so glad I chose Destinations at Alexandria.. Take a tour - you will not be sorry. Peace!.

This is a wonderful place to live and I love living here. The staff is amazing, Candice, Jesus, Dione and Rosalyn. They really care about the residents and have always made me feel wanted and appreciated. I often volunteer at the events. I noticed a couple of previous comments and wanted to point out a few things SEVERAL of the events offered are events that DESTINATIONS ALEXANDER do as a courtesy they are free to the residents for example EXERCISE CLASS and when a exercise vendor cancels the activity at the last minute that is not the teams fault. Be thankful and grateful for how wonderful the staff is THEY do care about all of us and try to make living here wonderful. Also I want to make mention about the break ins. DONT LEAVE YOUR WINDOW OPEN AND FRONT DOORS UNLOCKED. We all have to take safety matters into our own hands. I live here and feel safe as most of the residents do. DONT READ INTO THE RUMORS OF DISGRUNTLED RESIDENTS THAT ARE JUST PLAIN MISERABLE AND NOTHING MAKES THEM HAPPY. T

I have been living here at Destinations at Alexander for almost three years. I feel like I should give credit were credit is due.Yesterday 1/9/18 I made a call to the office. The Assistant Manager answered my call her name is Dione . She was very helpful and pleasant and directed my problem to maintenance staff. Within an hour Efrain the maintenance staff was at my door with a smile he even put plastic booties over his shoes. In fact every time I needed help the maintenance staff including Eddie and Jesus have been extremely responsive, professional and courteous! Hats off to the whole staff!

I have nothing positive to say about my whole experience with this place. We arrived from California ready to sign a lease and were totally ignored and left standing outside the office. I finally had to call while standing outside the office just to get anyone to acknowledge us. We were then told we had to have the Mgmt company listed on the renters insurance, which we were not advised of previously. Needless to say we chose not to sign a lease and no deposit money has been returned, not to mention that they NEVER return my calls. Dont be fooled, they are nice while they are taking your money but dont expect any service once they have it.Dont do it, you will regret it!I read your response and would just like to have my deposit refunded. You can compliment yourself all you want, but it still stands that you have never returned my deposit nor returned my calls.

I have lived here for 3 years.I transferred from one of the other Destinations where I moved there in 2013.The homes are nice ,just like your own private home.Love the patios.I have great neighbors and feel very safe here.I just wish the new mgmt. company would not keep raising rent because at some point,the seniors will not be able to afford it.I will be here as long as it is affordable for me.Thr maintenance team has always fixed any problems that I've had ,quickly & they are always courteous and efficient! The office staff has always been there to help me with any issues and I really appreciate this! I just hope the rent doesn't go up next year or I will have to go. Thanks again!

I came here in 2005 and have seen the biggest inprovment when the new compay, Graystar, took over, not only in the staff but what they are doing with the property.

my dad lives here and the new management company is not good. too many changes all together. seniors can't keep up with their nonsense rules and increasingly high rents but truthfully the only reason why we decided to renew him is because of the office staff and the great service they render. primarily speaking of our faborite gal, we ONLY deal with Silvana. she is amazing! aside from the fact that she cracks my dad up (which is completely impossible to do because you can't even get a fake smile outta that guy) she takes the time to hear his ever lasting complains and resolves any issue he has right then in the moment. sometimes the simply fact that someone treats you as good as they do is what keeps you coming back or staying along side them. if there's one thing this place has that is absolutely fantastic is the team they have.

These people stole my grandmas 100 bucks. They said it would be refunded if not approved.. She wasnt approved we asked for the refund... They sent check to wrong address... Then will not talk to her as to wen she is going to get her refund. This was back in july. They will not give a corprate number out we have spoken to the in the office and on thier chat and still nothing. Pretty sad whenya rob the poor elderly. I would not recomand them at all. What are they hidding?? Not allowing people access to thier corparate number?? Id give negi. Stars if i could.

I lived there a year it is a nice community it is duplex homes. It is pretty clean some people have a hard time getting trash in the large trash cans large clubhouse with events, The maintenance is pretty good and mostly friendly a bit short handed with over 400 homes. I have to be honest it is a bit clicky so it takes sometime to get into the friendship that I was hoping for, there are nice pool and hot tub. The area is North LV so it is an ok area you have markets shops restaurants about 7 miles there is Target Walmart Hobby Lobby Banks fast food etc The rents have gone up and for $950 it seens high for a one bedroom when you also pay all the utilities. I give this place 3 1/2 Stars Ck it out for yourself there are other apt bdlgs all over the valley for choices of what part of town you wish to live in
