I have to say Janine and all of her staff went above and beyond taking care of our mother/mother-in-law/Grandma the last days of her life. She moved into Havelock Manor for a few short days after having a stroke and was on Hospice. The staff was so amazingly caring and compassionate to our whole family welcoming us with love. They made sure not only Ma was taken care of but our family too by offering us snacks, drinks, another room connected to Mom's room to gather during this hard time. They checked on us every hour making us feel like we were all one big family. Words can't express how that helped us all through this hard time. I was able to be family and not worry about being a caregiver which I do on a day to day basis. Janine welcomed us with open arms along with her staff. Thank you to all of them truly means the world to our family. I would highly refer anyone to their facility. Thank you again Havelock Manor for everything you did for us. Love the Carda Family

Havelock Manor is a fairly small but wonderful assisted living home on a shady quiet street in Lincoln. It is owned and run by a dynamic and compassionate woman named Janine. Her mission truly is to help people have the most love and care to the end of their journey here on earth. It is obviously very important to her that all her residents have the best and kindest care possible in their final days, months, or maybe even years. How do I know? I spent many days at the Manor when my older sister was very sick with terminal cancer. She needed help and Havelock Manor stepped up and agreed to care for her, even when she eventually required hospice care. She was welcomed from the very first day and made to feel comfortable in the home-like setting. There are three meals a day in the large lovely dining area that are prepared in the kitchen there. There are fun daily activities for residents. There are great rocking chairs on the front porch for the residents and their guests to enjoy and there is a lovely small patio and garden outside from the dining room that residents and guests can also use. Most importantly, there is the caring owner, and the sweet dedicated staff, to watch over and interact with the residents. The complex is lovely and homey, but what really makes Havelock Manor special are the owner and her staff. They are all amazing! They are truly dedicated to giving each and every one of the residents there consistent and compassionate care and attention. They do so in a cheerful and sweet manner. I know I always felt my sister was getting the best care possible. For example, as my sisters health deteriorated, a hospice nurse came to Havelock Manor to check on her and provide the care my sister needed. The staff was very attentive to her needs. They were always very friendly and kind. Janine and her staff were always kind and compassionate to our family, too. They were especially attentive to us the morning my sister passed away. They were nearby but not intrusive. They made sure my sister was as comfortable as possible. They were on hand to answer our questions and help us through that difficult morning. They were quick to give hugs and say soothing words and they showed amazing care and compassion. I cant say enough about Havelock Manor and the Staff. It is an amazing place filled with incredible people.Ellie Graf

Since Sept 7th it's been a long journey. But once my father in law got to Havelock Manor we can breathe. He is participating in activities that he hasn't done in years. He feels like he can rest and take his time. The staff is through and and extremely skilled in what they do. The feeling is like home when you walk in. I would say this place is nothing short of amazing. And Jeannie the administrator was right on to of a short notice situation.
