I see so much love and the Good Samaritan Mission going into caring for the residents. The residents are happy and know that they have a voice in their care. If they have concerns, they are addressed. The campus is beautiful and there is such care that goes into what everyone does. A great place to work and a great place to live. Truly blessed to be part of this.

My father in lawWould have been better off at home with me. My niece and I did most of his cares. Several falls in a short time, was wearing the same clothes for days, was taken to the doctor with breakfast on his face. It was hard enough to watch his life change. Called the DON at home and she reminded me they were a 5 star facility.

My grandma is a resident and after visiting for the first time I was impressed by the kindness of the staff and overall happiness of the residents.

My father was in Good Samaritan's care at the beginning of December. It was a horrible experience for my family and I. He would never get his breathing treatments on time, never received a meal in the evening, if we would not of been there to ask who know, they do not come around and see how the meal is going for the residents. Was never taken to the bathroom on a regular basis, one evening they came to take him and his pants and socks where soaked and I mean soaked. When you push the button for someone to come help him you will be waiting around 30 min. My father wore a CPAP mask we were told they would put it on every night when sleeping, they never did we called the company sometimes if they did it would only be on for 2-5 Hours a night. Assuming in the early morning after breathing treatment was given staff was too lazy to put it back on. Or they would give you the line he is getting up for breakfast shortly, their definition of shortly would be two hours later. If you are ever planning on putting a family member into a home. Recommendation walk around the facility, hang out for a good couple of hrs in the areas where he would be at, see if staff is friendly, answering call lights in a timely mannor, listen to other residents ask how their experience was. Because ours was awful and I would never recommend Good Samaritan to anyone.
