Shady Lawn Nursing Home

My mothercurrently resides there....not by mychoice...my brother placedher in there. The food sucks! The staff is constantly changing....never see the same one twice! My mother could walk when she went in ..but now sits most of the time in bed they don't do much therapy with her.( don't know where the picture of the workout room came from...I've never seen a room like that) when the resident pushers a button they are slow to answer....in short they act like they don't give a damn! If I could ...I'd find another place....dignity is NOT in their vocabulary!!

I worked there very short period of time and it's true on all bad reviews the staff have clicks and gossip and don't use the proper equitement to transfer which is Becuase faulty equitement or bed don't move and God forbid you report them they cover it up when state they make sure they have the best working order even the supplies are all new such as towels hand wash cloths linens Becuase when states not there can't find nothing to assist the residents in washing there face cuase nothing to but few supplies to work with all a cover up when states in the building there way more help then when there doing there state inspections and when they give a pass then it's back to the short cuts in everything including not enough help and it's sad they need all new staff and no rehired policies of old staff there and clean house starting with management .All the reviews showing positive just makes me wonder if there family to those employers there or work there themselves but doesn't matter the state reviews over power these reviews which shows it's a two.seven star place that alone shows and speaks volumes ...

This is an amazing facility, we're all a small, tight knit family. Our residents are by far the best ever!!!!

The smell in my parents room was so bad that upon investigation I found used colostomy bags in his drawers. This has happened 3 times. We are now banned from visiting him in his room. I have pictures to prove this and plenty more.
