MAGNIFICENT hopes it will not in trouble...

My father is at this facility! He was there less than a week and the Social work informed me she knew my father better than I do! What a horrible first impression! 1.She needs some compassion 2. She needs to find a new field, she is obviously lacking in social skills! I have visited my father often and Everytime I have a question I get a different answer from different staff!!! I have a really big problem with the care not only is my father getting but all the other patients on the D wing! The odor is sicking! The way they take care of the patients is by doping them up to the max! So they are all slumped over in their wheelchair's! Probably not being changed! What away of life for our veterans!!! They keep my dad doped so they don't have to take him to the chapel on Sunday morning! Shame on the staff and shame on our government for allowing the staff to be so lazy in the care of these veterans that saved our lives!! You may not pay for your actions here on earth but you will pay when you meet your maker! I wonder if you have ever asked yourself is my name written in the Book Of Life? Adding to my review my Dad has been in the veterans facility for about 5 months now! They have had 2 rounds of scapies! Everyday my Dad has something stolen out of his room, they do nothing about it!His wallet, to electric razors,food etc. I wanted to update my review! So now we have started finding bruises on my father. They are on his stomach area! His legs! He yells when you touch his back!!! They where supposed to fill out a incident report on Monday they had no record conveniently!They have had 3 cases of scabies, they found it was a worker bringing them in! For the sake of God don't put your loved one here!God Bless

Like the prior lady mentioned beware because I cannot mention how many issues there have been at this home. Excuses are made at every situation and frankly the administration and most of those in power there should be ashamed to be in health care. This is a place where they encourage drugging people up and sedating them to the point where they have no life left or spark left done all for their convenience and to make their jobs easier. My loved one was sent to the ED twice in less than a month because they did not want to deal with the situation and they hoped the hospital would admit but both times was sent right back as medically cleared. They do not like when things are not in heir 1000% control as the ones at top are very power driven. So they will create whatever excuse to keep Doing shady things until they win. Then they tried a third time to get my LO admitted & out of their hair and this time went as far as lying and saying it was necessary in order to just start a medication. Plain garbage. The facilities mind you that are known historically to be very damaging and traumatic to my LO they wanted to send to. Do they care?! Absolutely not! They are driven by their need to control & suppress. Meanwhile the other thing that happens is they ruin lives in their quest for control. Yes, indeed, absolutely make many surprise visits & ask questions. Educate yourselves and dont buy the lies. Frankly I am not impressed by the people running this place-I have gone so far as to report them to the state for elder abuse multiple times - it is so bad. It is a rigged system because guess what? All the complaints go right back to them and then they punish you for looking out for your LO. This place is beyond corrupt. While there are a few good apples in the bunch I have to say as a whole they re not to be trusted and they lie & make up stories to protect themselves while causing trouble for others and literally sending my LO into the depths of despair under their care. **died prematurely** It is extremely disturbing to mention how many assaults, medical errors, and the level of incompetence by some of the staff there. I would urge anyone to be very careful because all is not what it appears. They are wolves in sheeps clothes and only care about protecting themselves and not what happens to your loved one. In fact, I would say that is pretty far down on the list of what matters to them. Dont be fooled. I wish I could turn back time, before they did extreme damage & now death. If the news media is available I would be happy to share my story as it has been nothing short of a nightmare dealing with such a horrid place. As my LO says sure it looks good on the outside but what about what goes on inside? Exactly & especially behind closed doors. I strongly urge any person to be very very careful as they do not even have an ombudsman. IF you want your loved one to die a premature and painful death, I would say place them here. This is exactly what has happened in our experience with this facility. I was holding back from writing anything publicly but the level of corruption and incompetence has not changed. They should not be able to get away with the evil they do. They go home after their shift and think they are doing good without a care as to the real damage that is occurring. Sick, sick, sick. This is sadistic on many levels. My conscience is bothering me and I could not go on without warning others of my traumatic experience in dealing with the damage they have done and much of it done deliberately. I have too many stories I could share that will make any one nervous and take heed. There are some loving staff on the floor and they are the ones I admire & seek out for the truth, but Too much corruption manipulation and lies coming from the top and there really is poor communication as a whole. I warned you. In the beginning I also thought it was a nice and decent place until I found out the true character of those running the Show. They killed my family member. Beware!
